🚀 24-Hour Hackathon – Sankalp 2025

Overview

The Sankalp 2025 Hackathon is an intense 24-hour coding challenge designed for innovators, developers, and problem-solvers to showcase their technical prowess. Compete against the brightest minds, build real-world solutions from scratch, and get a chance to win exciting cash prizes!

With expert mentors, industry judges, and networking opportunities, this is your chance to push your limits and create something impactful!

🛠 Hackathon Structure & Selection Process

🚀 Phase 1: Problem Statement Selection

• Teams will receive problem statements once themes are announced.
• Each team must submit a 3-slide PPT covering:
  1. Problem Understanding & Approach
  2. Proposed Solution
  3. Technology Stack & Feasibility
• Submission Deadline: 27 Feb 2025

✅ Phase 2: Shortlisting

• Based on the PPT evaluation, only selected teams will proceed to the 24-hour hackathon.
• Shortlisted teams will be notified via email.

💻 Phase 3: 24-Hour Implementation Round

• Shortlisted teams will develop and implement their solution from scratch during the hackathon.
• All coding and development must happen within the hackathon timeframe.
• Proper documentation and code submission will be required.

🏆 Phase 4: Judging & Final Round

• The hackathon consists of two evaluation rounds:
  1. Round 1: Initial prototype review and feedback.
  2. Final Round: Top teams will pitch their final solution to the judges.

📜 Rules & Guidelines

1. Team Formation:

   • Each team must have 2-4 members.
   • Individual participation is not allowed.

2. Project Development:

   • Projects must be developed from scratch during the hackathon.
   • Using pre-built projects will lead to disqualification.
   • Any open-source AI, APIs, and tools are allowed.
   • Proper attribution must be given for any external resources used.

3. Use of AI & Open-Source Tools:

   • You are free to use any open-source AI models, APIs, frameworks, and libraries.
   • Teams must document their AI usage and tool integration in their final submission.

4. Submission & Presentation:

   • Teams must submit a working prototype along with a brief presentation/demo.
   • Projects will be judged based on innovation, feasibility, technical execution, and impact.

5. Code of Conduct:

   • Participants must adhere to ethical standards and respectful behavior.
   • Plagiarism, tampering with other teams’ projects, or misconduct will result in disqualification.

💰 Registration Fee

• Selected teams must pay a registration fee of ₹299 per team.
• This fee includes free food, snacks, tea, and coffee throughout the hackathon.

🏠 Accommodation

For participants requiring accommodation, a fee of ₹400 per person will be applicable. Accommodation will be provided on campus with basic amenities.
🚀 Note: Participants are free to stay at the venue overnight and continue working on their projects throughout the hackathon. However, those who wish to rest will have access to designated accommodation spaces.
